The birthplace of the modern notariat, Bologna is one of Italy’s most beautiful cities – in the opinion of many, second only to Venice. It is home to Europe’s oldest University and to Italy’s finest cuisine.
On 1st, 2nd and 3rd September 2011, we will be holding our Conference in Bologna. With the enthusiastic support of the Comune di Bologna, some of the most magnificent facilities in Italy have been made available to us to stage this once in a lifetime event.
The 2011 Bologna Conference – “towards a Closer Understanding”, initially will focus on learning about and relating to the civil law notariat and its customs and practices.
We will also have important working sessions on common law customs and practices and the challenges of the future which face us all.

Superb quiet location but only minutes from station and centre. Very helpful friendly staff. Welcoming ambiance with a personal touch. Breakfast acceptable as 3 star, but as in 'foodie' Italy, could perhaps be just a bit better? No complaints though! Would readily return.
The receptionist of this hotel are very helpful and answer to your needs. The room we were in was very quiet and so we had a restful and comfortable night. There is a bus stop very near the hotel who have frequent passes of buses. Breakfast was ok as well.
I stayed here for six nights and I am finding it very difficult to think of anything that can be improved. The location was central and close to all the attractions, including the main railway station. The room and facilities were excellent and the staff, in particular, were friendly, efficient and helpful. Breakfast was also very good. I highly recommend this hotel as an excellent value establishment. Bologna itself is one of my favourite cities in Italy, and if you need a break from more touristy cities, I highly recommend it.
