Franco Battiato celebrates 150 byears Anniversary of Italy's Unification with this gift to the Sicilian Arab Poetry School. Diwan is the new musical project of this famous artist, and it is meant to remember a long forgotten culture and let live again a tongue that is part of Italian heritage.
In this way was born  "Diwan - L'Essenza dal Reale", an original event that the Voice Center of Bologna University and Rome Music Foundation contributed to create. The concert will see on stage Franco Battiato and nine other performers of different countries.

Superb quiet location but only minutes from station and centre. Very helpful friendly staff. Welcoming ambiance with a personal touch. Breakfast acceptable as 3 star, but as in 'foodie' Italy, could perhaps be just a bit better? No complaints though! Would readily return.

We picked this hotel for its convenience for both the old town and the railway station. The staff are all very welcoming and helpful and the hotel comfortable. Well places for us to get back for re-energising breaks in a hard days tourism

My husband and I were so please with this hotel! The service was excellent, super polite staff who went above and beyond for us to make our stay comfortable. The included breakfast was also excellent. So close to the supermarket, main shopping street and the train station which made our lives very easy. Highly recommended
