Bologna, the town where was born the first University in the western world in XI century, is still today full of cultural and artistic ideas, and she is home to students from all over Europe.
In Etruscan time Bologna was known as Felsina, then, after the Gallic time, she became a Roman colony. During Middle ages the town is a Free Municipality, then a Signoria and, from the middle of XIX century, was annexed to Pope State.

AlexeiThe receptionist of this hotel are very helpful and answer to your needs. The room we were in was very quiet and so we had a restful and comfortable night. There is a bus stop very near the hotel who have frequent passes of buses. Breakfast was ok as well.

LilyI stayed here for six nights and I am finding it very difficult to think of anything that can be improved. The location was central and close to all the attractions, including the main railway station. The room and facilities were excellent and the staff, in particular, were friendly, efficient and helpful. Breakfast was also very good. I highly recommend this hotel as an excellent value establishment. Bologna itself is one of my favourite cities in Italy, and if you need a break from more touristy cities, I highly recommend it.
